A powerful blend of red clover, field rye, winter pea, hairy vetch, and daikon radish. They enrich and protect your garden soil through the off-season. This diverse blend fixes nitrogen, suppresses weeds, breaks up compacted soil, and prevents erosion while adding organic matter as it decomposes. In spring, simply cut or till this cover crop into the soil to create a fertile, friable bed that enhances plant health, reduces fertilizer needs, and supports long-term soil vitality. This versatile mix thrives in any garden and even draws pollinators. Ideal for sowing in fall or spring, be sure to till it in before it sets seed for maximum benefit—a perfect way to rejuvenate your garden after a busy growing season!

Each packet covers between 5-10 square feet.

When your cover crop finishes growing, mow or cut it down before it sets seed. Allow the residue to dry briefly, then till, dig, or mulch it into the soil to decompose. This returns nutrients, improves structure, and prepares a rich, weed-suppressing bed for your next planting.

Nice thick lush beds of cover crop for winter/spring garden planting

I think I bought 5 packets which was good for covering 2/6ft beds
Everything grew quickly, lots of nitrogen fixers and it's all still thick & lush. I will chop & mulch into the soil after all this rain probably around December for the winter/spring garden season here in FL

Doesn’t cover as much ground as stated on the package.

I thought three packs would be enough for the area I’m trying to cover, but it is definitely not. We’ll see how it does.
