Winter Vine. Butterneck Squash is a Canadian heirloom that is the close cousin to the butternut squash, with a slimmer neck and unique shape. It’s hard to believe this variety is nearly extinct, given its rich, creamy texture and sweet, nutty flavor. A favorite for roasting, mashing, or making into soups and pies.
I've not grown these yet, but I've yet to get something from MiGardener that didn't preform as expected.
Butterneck Squash
I love these butterneck squash seeds. They have great germination, and they are so easy to grow.
This came so highly recommended that I had to order it immediately! Thank you!
I love getting my seeds from MI Gardener because they all have germinated when I used them. Not only that, but I get a decent harvest as well. I don't get that from other seed companies. Not sure why? Also, customer service rock! Thanks Luke for all you and your company does.
One of my favorite things to grow is spinach, I grow mostly in containers so I like to try and get as much as possible out of my small garden. This variety definitely does that. I get massive leaves and fill up a gallon sized ziplock bag relatively quickly every week when the harvest begins.
Germination went very well, popped up within a few days. Growing well!
Nice I like it. Its perfect
Awesome carrots. Love the mix of colors.
This is my favorite lettuce! Hard to find near me. So glad MIgardener had it.
