Cold hardy and delicious in every way! This green was used for many years as a garnish until people finally started getting smart and began eating it! The leaves are slightly bitter with a nice deep earthy green flavor. Amazing in salads, blended up for green cold soup, or juiced. Rich in vitamins, fiber, and minerals. Very similar to lettuce, but once you try endive; you will feel as if every salad is bland. The flavor is intense and robust.
I planted my seeds once the weather turned cooler into 1" plugs because these dont need to be sized up and can go into the garden really fast. I started them a couple weeks ago, and they're just about ready to go into my 9b/10a raised beds. They have nearly perfect germination, and I was pretty precise as i dont like to waste seed and am stingy with it. You could just as easily broadcast these outside and just make sure they stay pretty moist until they start to sprout. Then they're pretty much hands of until you need to thin. In another month or two, we will be swimming in full heads of enliven, but I'll be enjoying it as thinnings and baby leaves maybe 3 or so weeks.
Fast growing. Very tasty.
Been a consistent producer even in hot weather. This has become my go to salad green year round (zone 8B).
Beautiful endive easy to grow. It looks wonderful and it tastes good. I grow this endive in 5 gallon pots without any problems.

Arrived quickly, can't wait to plant this for spring
I've not had them sprout yet, as I've winter sown them and expect their tini-ness to be visible next spring and I'll plant them then...But, Your seeds are always viable, so I've no doubt they will be great in this instance also.
If a flower could wink, the Chocolate Cherry Sunflower absolutely would. These seeds don’t just grow—they perform. I planted them expecting a pretty pop of color. What I got was a full-on backyard drama starring velvety mahogany petals, smoldering ruby undertones, and bees treating them like a five-star resort.
These little overachievers sprout fast, grow strong, and then burst into velvety red-and-chocolate blooms that look like sunflowers dressed for a black-tie gala.
They’re bold, dramatic, and total showstoppers—the kind of flowers that make neighbors slow down and ask what on earth you planted.
If you want something easy, reliable, and downright stunning, this is the sunflower. Honestly? They’ve ruined plain yellow sunflowers for me. 🌻🍒✨
Planted this is in my side yard, just gorgeous, tons of butterflies and pollinators all year, going to get more and do more areas, maybe even some graffitti gardening
First time ever growing chia . 2 out of the 3 came up. Still little seedlings so far so good.
