AnnualIndeterminate. A 1920s multi-purpose heirloom. This heart shaped tomato is meaty and solid, making it the perfect addition to sandwiches. The flavor is sweet, juicy, and the density of the walls makes for a delicious paste. Fruits grow up to 16-32 oz each. Vines grow vigorously and require cages.
Pink Oxheart Tomato
The seeds came quickly and well packaged.
Very productive and vigorous plant with very tasty fruit. The tomato flavor was strong with a balanced acid and low sweet taste; classic oxheart. Skin is delicate too
I had most fruit in the 6-10oz range, first size or half as much. That being said I rarely fertilize and didn't pay the best attention this year
Never received the order,
I have waited for a long time for these seeds! They have often been sold out I have not had the pleasure of tasting them yet but look forward to. I have started them indoors so it shall be any day now!
So far all 6 seeds that I planted have germinated and are growing well. I am planning on transplanting them into bigger pots soon until they’re ready for the garden.
My old reliable variety, always produces an abundance of tomatoes towards the end of the season!
Little pepper plants popped up quickly, they seem to be doing very well thus far.
Really great germination, I am currently growing them in my hydroponic system.
I gave one to my partner last summer... he said, "WHY DOES THIS TASTE LIKE CHAMPAGNE??"
This variety will be in my garden until I can no longer garden!
