Indeterminate - This variety is popular for being the largest tomato in the garden. Commonly weighing in over 2 lbs, these mammoth tomatoes packs a punch with flavor. Rich, juicy, deep velvet fruits taste acidic with a fruity sweetness. The acidic flavor makes these great for all uses. When the fruits are sliced often each slice is as large as a salad plate in diameter!

Love the Variety

Although most of the seeds I purchased will be for the spring, the Eggplants I seeded directly into the bed and are very healthy. Trying the Jamaican Peppers again next year, I killed them in the spring by not starting them correctly. Looking forward to a 2026 Garden!

saved the day

this year i am tasked with starting a 48 cell flat of tomatoes for our local food pantry's garden. they gave me what was supposed to be a packet of 100 seeds from a local feed store so i started putting 2 per cell and bah i was short 24 seeds 12 cells so i rummaged through my seed stash in jars in the back of the fridge found a full packet of migardener mortgage lifter seed from 2021. figured it was worth a shot ended up getting 100% germination out of them no issues. thank you for saving the day.

This is my first year growing Mortage Lifters. They did not dissapoint. I started them indoors, and moved them to an outside greenhouse before final planting in garden, zone 6b. Did use cages on half, the others were left to spread out. I did find the ones I did use cages with, were perfect. My new favorite for sandwiches. Also used them in sauce. Very tasty. Plan on planting again in 2025
