Indeterminate - Matt's Wild Cherry tomato is an heirloom variety renowned for its prolific production and exceptional flavor. Originating from Hidalgo, Mexico, this indeterminate tomato produces an abundance of small, deep red fruits about the size of a marble. The fruits are known for their intense sweetness and robust, tangy flavor, making them perfect for snacking, salads, and garnishing. The vigorous plants are highly disease-resistant and thrive in various conditions, continuing to produce fruit until frost.
So far these are germinating the best out of any of my tomato varieties (planted several cherry, roma and brandywine). Hoping these will continue to do well as they grow!
I planted these last Spring and was hopeful these would do well. The “vigorous and disease resistant” description was a big draw for me. The seeds germinated but failed to thrive in my garden. With the exception of the Rio Grande variety, all other plantings performed very well in my garden. May try again this coming season in containers. It would be helpful if MIG could add which varieties do best in a particular zone in the description.
I've been growing this tomato for years! It is great for snacking and to toss a handful onto salads. I do toss extras into my sauces, salsas and soups.
One of my favorites so far and will grow these again and again. Extremely prolific and started fruiting early. Still producing in October in zone 6b!
I plan to write the same review for these and for the Mexico Midget. They grow well and produce lots of very small (wild blueberry-sized) tomatoes. Taste is good, but the small size is more challenging to harvest than "normal" sized cherry tomatoes. This is not 3 stars for MIgardener, just my review of the plant itself. I am in zone 6b.

So far, everything we have purchased has had an almost 100% germination rate. And what sprouts has grown quickly and strongly. We are now big fans of MIgardener seeds!
I’ve had issues trying to germinate seeds bought from big box stores. Come to find out they are old and a waste of money. MI Gardener seeds are fresh, germinate quickly and stay good for years. My Pablo lettuce is still growing and I look forward to harvesting and eating it!
Love this green tomato! I almost missed the ripeness window because I didn’t realize that it would get the sweetest tinge of pink. (I thought it was a red tomato that was just starting to turn color, until I squeezed it!) The flavor is fresh and mild and sweet—and the color is beautiful.
Finally blooming this September to the point I’m harvesting to create soothing balms with glorious colored blooms!
I had great success with the Red Acre Cabbage. Every plant produced a nice sized head, and each weighed at least 2 pounds. The taste is great and slightly sweet. I will definitely grow this again.
