Indeterminate - Black from Tula is a richly colored tomato, ranging from deep burgundy to green, with a flattened globe shape. Known for its low acidity and natural sweetness, it’s excellent for slicing, juicing, or canning. Fruits can reach up to 1 lb each, making for hearty harvests. In warmer climates, expect a hint of smoky flavor that adds depth. For best results, stake plants to ensure good airflow and support heavy fruit.
This tomato varietal hails from Bulgaria, and I read that it is a delicious tomato. Thanks for offering this tomato at a great price point. Competitor sites charge nearly $4 for these seeds.
Hineskty i prefer the black from tula over the cherokee purple. Its got a nice smokey sweet flavor which is even better when eaten directly from the vine while still warmed from the morning sun. Its the best flavor. The plant itself seems to handle drought pretty well during the peak temps of the summer months. I did notice this variety was one of the first varieties to get touched by blight but after treatment pulled tjrough and continued to flourish almost as good as my more robust varieties that are more blight resistant.
Love all the seeds from MIgardener
Wonderful germination
Excited to grow thid!
So far all 6 seeds that I planted have germinated and are growing well. I am planning on transplanting them into bigger pots soon until they’re ready for the garden.
My old reliable variety, always produces an abundance of tomatoes towards the end of the season!
Little pepper plants popped up quickly, they seem to be doing very well thus far.
Really great germination, I am currently growing them in my hydroponic system.
I gave one to my partner last summer... he said, "WHY DOES THIS TASTE LIKE CHAMPAGNE??"
This variety will be in my garden until I can no longer garden!
