Long Day - Ruby Red is a favorite in the MIgardener garden for its crunch and versatility! The deep purple variety is ideal for long storage and will last up to five months. It is a bit spicy and savory, making it perfect for greek salads. Highly reliable with excellent yields.
Ruby Red Long Day Onion
I have always had great luck and great service with everything I’ve ordered. Products and customer service and information are awesome.
Excellent germ and growing strong - better than my Ailsa **** and Walla Walla onions. I'm excited to get these out in the garden!
Huge crop some very large. Still storing well in the end of January.
Even my husband who doesn’t like onions much likes these. My kids all liked them as well, especially on hamburgers. They were pretty mild tasting and were great raw. I plan to grow these every year.
This is an all-star! Armenian cukes have a mild taste, store well in the refrigerator, and are delightfully crunchy. I shared them with many friends this year and each one loved them and decided to grow them next year!
My seeds arrived safely, the order was accurate, and I love how MIGardener keeps their seed packet prices low (without skimping on the seed count!). This company has a great variety of high quality seeds, I always get a great germination percentage. This winter, I'm excited to start my indoor garden of greens and other small veg so I don't have to buy the overpriced (potentially coated in chemicals) produce at the store. Keep up the good work, MIG team! Thank you for being there :-)
I planted these beets last year and they were so successful I ordered more for this year.
All of my seeds grew from last year. I have been very pleased and look forward to this new order growing this coming spring.
growing a few of these indoors under a light for winter sandwiches. they came up fine still to small to eat so jury is out on taste. growing winter plants also puts moisture in the house and it is very dry this year so bonus.
