It is valued for its calming properties and is commonly used in herbal teas and aromatherapy. They are considered perennial in zones 4-7, but they are short-lived perennials and often grown as annuals, re-sowing seeds every year or two or allowed to self-sow. These grow 3-6" tall, and spread 1' wide.

So far all 6 seeds that I planted have germinated and are growing well. I am planning on transplanting them into bigger pots soon until they’re ready for the garden.
