Long Day- Red Wethersfield Onion put Wethersfield, Connecticut on the map In 1834. This impressive dark red onion with unmatched flavor was the main export of the area. Its flattened purple globes and pungent flesh made this variety a fast favorite. Extremely rare and sought after in the culinary world. This variety is a delicious addition to salads, canning, and fresh eating.
Haven't planted this particular variety but every other onion I've ordered and planted from MIGardenercoupled with Luke's videos have me pulling loads of giant onions. Can't wait to try this one
Great germination and beautiful onions.
Wonderful germination rate!
Best price anywhere and the best quality seeds!! Looking forward to the 2026 growing year!
I have not sowed these yet but I’m certain germinating will be great. I received my order super fast which was a plus!
Awesome producer and neat looking fruit! The abundant cucumber beetles seem to ignore the vines too!
Haven’t planted yet. Looking forward to adding to salads! So happy MIgarden had these. Hard to find Microgreen seeds
So far all 6 seeds that I planted have germinated and are growing well. I am planning on transplanting them into bigger pots soon until they’re ready for the garden.
My old reliable variety, always produces an abundance of tomatoes towards the end of the season!
Little pepper plants popped up quickly, they seem to be doing very well thus far.
