AnnualA large leaf variety of kale. This is excellent for making wraps, and is also great for juicing, salads, and can be used to make kale chips. It is not too crinkly or narrow like other varieties making for a very delicious and useful vegetable. A cross between kale and collards is one of the best varieties to grow. Excellent Source Of Vitamin C, K, Iron, and Fiber.
Started these indoors and saw a great germination rate. They took well to transplanting and are well on their way to the first harvest.

We planted five seeds in five die pattern in 12 x 2.5" starter pots because we suspected finicky germination rate, but much to our surprise 53 of the 60 seeds came up! We gave four seedlings to family and pricked the remaining 49 out and everyone is doing very well in its own pot. Grade A seeds in our opinion! We love MIGardener!
