This variety has tender, medium-green leaves resembling those of an oak tree. The heads are slow bolting and compact. Wonderful for the container-growing gardener. The quick growing time makes Oakleaf lettuce good for areas with short growing seasons.
Fast shipping, lettuce is growing well!!
I added it to a homemade blend of other leafy greens and radishes to use as a living mulch that protects my soil under the larger plants and chokes out unwanted weeds while being edible
I love your seeds because they always produce 100%. I have harvested lettuce from these seeds and a couple other varieties three times so far this year. It is delicious for my green salads. Thank you for making food growing delicious and affordable!
Thanks for the wonderful seeds
I have been buying this product for years. It always produces well. I have started some indoors and they are growing fine.
This is an all-star! Armenian cukes have a mild taste, store well in the refrigerator, and are delightfully crunchy. I shared them with many friends this year and each one loved them and decided to grow them next year!
My seeds arrived safely, the order was accurate, and I love how MIGardener keeps their seed packet prices low (without skimping on the seed count!). This company has a great variety of high quality seeds, I always get a great germination percentage. This winter, I'm excited to start my indoor garden of greens and other small veg so I don't have to buy the overpriced (potentially coated in chemicals) produce at the store. Keep up the good work, MIG team! Thank you for being there :-)
I planted these beets last year and they were so successful I ordered more for this year.
All of my seeds grew from last year. I have been very pleased and look forward to this new order growing this coming spring.
growing a few of these indoors under a light for winter sandwiches. they came up fine still to small to eat so jury is out on taste. growing winter plants also puts moisture in the house and it is very dry this year so bonus.
