This was my first year doing a big garden, so the soil in my yard wasn’t the best- it had poor drainage and was clay like. I was worried it wouldn’t do well but they did wonderful. I started these seeds indoor and also had a near 100% germination rate. The peppers grew so thick and sturdy and we ate so many of them this summer! I will be growing these again next year for sure. Just be sure they are staked, there were some large branches that broke off because of the weight of the pepper.

I think these are my favorite variety, though I do love the yellow ones too. Next year I will make sure there is no weed competition early on, I stunted them with neglect this year...
