Third year growing these last year - first time using MIGardener seeds... I experimented starting 3 seeds in Jan and 3 seeds in Feb (indoors) and all 6 grew! I can't stand to throw out a growing plant, so I gave a few away and I grew 4 of them... Wow! They did fantastic! Luffa can be tricky to get going but once they do, watch out! I will grow them just for the pollinators who absolutely love the yellow flowers. Such a fun, beautiful and eye-catching vine to grow.

First time growing luffa and was able to harvest 1 luffa. Seeds germinated great. Will definitely grow again.

I cannot wait to dry these to discover the luffa inside. This plant grows crazy fast but was slow to produce any gourds. Just recently a few started and I am so excited. I even tried hand pollination because I was worried noting would happen. This is photo is of two plants. Lots of beautiful yellow flowers, so it looks wonderful in the garden.
