Blue Lake Pole Bean is a highly esteemed heirloom variety known for its vigorous growth and exceptional flavor. Producing long, slender, stringless pods that reach up to 6-7 inches in length, these beans are tender and crisp, ideal for fresh eating, canning, and freezing. The plants are climbers, requiring support such as trellises or poles, allowing them to offer continuous harvests throughout the growing season. Renowned for their productivity, disease resistance, and superior taste, they are a favorite among home gardeners and commercial growers alike.
Great germination rate-- pretty standard blue lake pole bean. Definitely better quality and price than big name stores.
Everything I have ever bought from MIGardener-from seeds, to fertilizer, to seed garlic bulbs- has been top quality, great price, and carefully packed and quickly shipped by friendly, caring people. I only buy from here!
Blue Lake Pole Bean
I have not grown the Blue Lake Pole Bean seeds yet. I bought the seeds on a great sale to use for next year. The Blue Lake Bush Beans are excellent and I plant them every year, so I decided to see how the Blue Lake Pole Beans grow. I can't wait to plant them next year.
We order these seeds every year. They are a workhorse in our garden. Good for a bountiful harvest every year as long as you pick frequently.

The taste of this tomato is super sweet. I made pico de gallo and it was a treat. I got a one pound tomato in my grow bag.
I got a good variety of seeds. I can’t wait to plant them next spring.
I wasn’t expecting that much garlic. My box was full of soft neck and hard neck.
They are doing beautifully. I can't wait for the spring!
As a homeschooling project, my seven year old grew this cauliflower, which is his favorite vegetable. He entered it into the county fair and won a first place prize. Easy to grow, and kept covered with a mesh fabric. Purchased the same seeds again, this time trying winter sowing in a raised garden bed with 6ml plastic hooped over top. Starting to head out again even if the outdoor temps are 30-40 during the day and 30-20 at night
