I cold stratified and then planted about 18 cells with two seeds per cell. About 7 plants emerged, the rest did not.I’ve never grown this from seed before, but even the ones that did emerge don’t look strong. But I guess we will see if they make it, hope so!

These germinated great and were all off to a good start, but they ended up getting potted up into too heavy of dirt and became stressed and got killed off by spider mites shortly after. Will be trying to grow again but will be taking better care of them while young.

Asclepias (Milkweeds) are very important to me, and especially this species! I often get my milkweed seeds from different companies, for a few reasons, but I noticed that my Swamp Milkweed seeds from a different well-known company were significantly smaller, and overall pretty scraggly-looking, compare those to these?- complete 180! These are massive, healthy looking seeds!
