One of the most cold-hardy greens. High in antioxidants and vitamins, these are excellent in salads and add a very unique twist. Great for all seasons gardening, especially those with low lighting as these only require a minimum of 4 hrs of sun. Red-veined sorrel has stunning red veins running through deep green leaves that never get larger than a few inches in length.

Frustrating Experience – Damaged Items, No Follow-up

I’ve always appreciated what MI gardener stands for( I am 7-8 yrs old loyal customer) — quality gardening products at an affordable price — but this time was a big letdown.

I received a seed package that arrived damaged, and sadly, none of the seeds sprouted, even though I followed all instructions. I was told I’d get a replacement (only a half-shipment, which felt odd but I agreed), but it never showed up.

Even worse, my Trifecta+ fertilizer arrived with a broken seal. The contents spilled everywhere — inside the box and all over my home when I opened it. I sent an email with the issue right away, and it’s now been over two weeks with no replacement or even a reply.

I had to clean up a huge mess and have been left without the products I paid for. I really expected better service and communication. I still support the mission of MI gardener, but this experience makes me hesitant to order again.

I order plenty of seeds from this company. They are very responsive and one the most affordable seed shops out here. Haven’t had a bad experience with anything I planted so far. One of my orders included the 3 sisters seeds. My corn, squash and green beans germinated quickly and are currently growing beautifully!

Always a welcomed herb in my garden, great added into salads and quiche, and tastes really nice!

Germinates fast

I planted seeds in mid summer, transplanted it to the garden just before fall. There wasn't enough yet to add to a salad, tasted a leaf and can't wait till it comes back in the spring.

Bought it twice it didn't grow properly

I've bought these seeds two years and it never grew properly. I've spread them in multiple locations in my garden hoping location was the problem and didn't germinate until months later when it got colder and even then they only grew maybe max half an inch.
