AnnualA true winner in the garden. Calabrese is large heading broccoli that is most commonly seen in supermarkets and farmer's markets. With its consistently large heads, it is reliable and effective in space. The nicest feature of Calabrese is that it produces many side shoots once the main head is harvested leading to many smaller harvests yielding about 2-3 times as much broccoli as the main head.

Great fertilizer. Used for the first time last year for my fall bulbs and they were stunning and strong come spring. Planting another 250 bulbs this fall so came back for more bulb fertilizer. I also use the Trifecta. Can’t go wrong with any of Luke’s amendments.

I grew this in a straw bale garden in 2025 and really enjoyed it. It grew amazingly well and was beautiful, so I purchased more for 2026. Michigan zone 6b.
