Indeterminate - This 1943 variety is a classic heirloom from the south. Louisiana is known for growing these in large numbers for juice with the sweet and low acidic qualitys. Miraculously, this variety is tolerant to drought, humidity, and heat. Produces high yields of tomatoes all season long. Fruits grow to weigh around 1 lb each. Resistant to alternaria stem canker (A)

Great fertilizer. Used for the first time last year for my fall bulbs and they were stunning and strong come spring. Planting another 250 bulbs this fall so came back for more bulb fertilizer. I also use the Trifecta. Can’t go wrong with any of Luke’s amendments.
Great germination and very prolific.
I grew this in a straw bale garden in 2025 and really enjoyed it. It grew amazingly well and was beautiful, so I purchased more for 2026. Michigan zone 6b.
I have grown these for the last few years and they are hands down my favorite. I like romas and firm tomatoes. These remind me of mini romas. These are less prone to splitting, super easy to harvest and has a super great flavor and very meaty. YUM!
The cloves are large, full and heavy. Of the two cloves I kept (shared 2 with my daughter), 12 were large enough to plant, 1 will be consumed.
