AnnualThis is one of the most vibrant lettuce varieties we have ever found. This variety is a romaine leaf lettuce, forming tight upright heads of beautiful ruby rust red and purple leaves. Crisp, delicate, and delicious. This plant is a must-have for edible landscaping. Grow this to add some pizzazz to salads, and give a nice red color to smoothies!

These might prefer a more controlled seeding environment instead of the scatter method I used. This Fall I'm using small containers and will transplant them out once germination & growth occurs.
Sadly I got nothing when I planted them last Fall (2023) so I can't give any opinions on taste.
I've always thought in my Gardener seeds were good seeds. And I'm sure these are no exception. I love the explanation on the packages. I love the value for you the product. I purchased these on sale for next season as the maturity date was too long before my frost date.
