Tropaeolum minus. Deep red flowers with yellow throats grow on a bright green cascading bush. This dwarf variety will produce twice the number of blossoms of other kinds. Excellent edging plant for flower beds and vegetable gardens. Nasturtiums make a great trap crop for possible pest infestations in the garden. When used in bouquets, this variety will add a touch of whimsy.

low germination?

Four of my 10 nasturtium seeds germinated, but I am a bit of a beginner, so that could certainly be my error. The seed packets did arrive a little worse for wear through the mail with 2 packets opened and several with holes (from mailing?). Overall I appreciated the range of seeds available and the simplicity of the website for ordering.
