This Wisconsin variety yields tons of medium sized, perfectly red tomatoes that grow to weigh 8-12 oz each with few seeds and a rich, sweet flavor. Though not as uniform as modern paste types, its taste and versatility make it a favorite among home gardeners and heirloom enthusiasts.
These tomatoes are prolific and the fruit is big for a paste variety!
This is one of my go to varieties when wanting to preserve anything like pasta sauce. A great producer with great flavor.

Fun way to get new interesting varieties in the garden, I love the grab bags! My sister and I have purchased these for the last few years and we make a big deal about the big reveal. We video-call each delivery (we both purchase more than one set) and play some sort of game or announcement of each packet . It’s the highlight of fall and helps us get over the end of gardening season blues!
The taste of this tomato is super sweet. I made pico de gallo and it was a treat. I got a one pound tomato in my grow bag.
