A must-have for the modern homesteader. This grain has more protein than rye and wheat. Perfect for those that are looking to grow their own grains to grind their own flour for baking.
I love that MIGardener allows us to try out seeds you just can't get at the Garden Center.
The Seeds arrived in great condition. I'm excited to try them!
I am super excited to grow Triticale this year and take a step into grinding my own flour and grain. I've never been disappointed with any of the MIgardener seed and look forward to an amazing harvest!

A tried and true green bean variety. My family and extended family swear upon the Blue Lake Bush bean as the best and will always have a home in our gardens year after year.
Growing Chesnok Red garlic was a lot of fun for a first time garlic grower. The garlic was covered with straw over the winter (Michigan, zone 6a) and weeded a few times in the spring and summer but that was about it. I was worried that the bulbs would be small since the necks were so small in the spring/summer, but after harvesting the scapes on the plant the garlic grew a good amount bigger. Just a solid variety all around to grow.
I fell in love with garlic scapes recently and I wanted to grow my own garlic for them. The Music variety did very, very well in Michigan (zone 6a). Not only did I receive a ton of garlic scapes, but I also received fairly large garlic bulbs when they were ready to harvest. Migardener provided premium garlic to plant, and I got premium garlic and garlic scapes in the end!
Golden Acre Cabbage is a treat to grow. It grows faster than most and grew very well through the winter sowing technique. In my experience, the Golden Cabbages are more prone to bugs and pests than the Red Acre Cabbage, but I would still chose to grow this variety than any other cabbage variety.
Thank you for another great batch of seeds. I do very well with germination, giving me confidence from starting my garden from seeds versus starter plants.
