Wherokowhai Tomato (Dwarf Bush)

I will be growing these tomatoes for the first time in 2027!

These started off so good, very sturdy. They don't seem to do as well in 90 or higher temps. Moved to part shade and they recovered. They grew taller than I expected so we did use support with them.

This is my second year growing these. They are very flavorful and one of my favorites. The fruit is quite large but there isn't a lot of it and it almost always cracks and sometimes splits. They are one of the last varieties to ripen.

All I can say about this tomato is that I've had pretty good germination. I bought this variety, because I've been looking for a variety that was determinate in growth, but indeterminate in production. I have a pretty extensive small space garden and I've been looking for suitable varieties to grow in my tower planter. I saw this listed and decided to try it out this year. I have high hopes that this variety is what I've been searching years for.
