Introduced in the 1870s, this tomato produces medium to large, globe-shaped fruits with a rich, deep red color. Each plant yields a bountiful harvest of 5-7 ounce tomatoes, perfect for slicing, salads, and sauces. With a texture that is firm, thick skinned, but still juicy and sweet; this is the perfect all purpose tomato.
So far so good. They sprouted within 2 days. Haven't been outside yet, too early still.
This tomato variety is the best basic tomato that I have found, so easy to grow and the taste is amazing.

I wasn't sure it would survive when I planted it, but it is growing. Very happy with my purchase
I immediately set this plant outside to begin hardening off. After about 2 weeks, I planted it in it's dedicated grow bag until I get a more permanent planter, and I must say it is living life. It has grown so much since I received it. I believe I'm going to remove the blossoms this year to continue promoting healthy growth.
Love this. I collect stickers on my garden notebook for fun and inspiration and this spoke to me.
