The Three Sisters planting method is an ancient agricultural technique used by Indigenous peoples of the Americas, combining corn or sunflower, beans, and squash in a symbiotic relationship. Corn provides tall stalks for the beans to climb, beans fix nitrogen in the soil to nourish all three plants, and squash spreads across the ground, acting as a natural mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds. This method optimizes space, enhances soil fertility, and creates a self-sustaining system. Ideal for home gardeners and sustainable agriculture enthusiasts, the Three Sisters method exemplifies harmony in nature, offering abundant harvests while promoting biodiversity and ecological balance.

Great fertilizer. Used for the first time last year for my fall bulbs and they were stunning and strong come spring. Planting another 250 bulbs this fall so came back for more bulb fertilizer. I also use the Trifecta. Can’t go wrong with any of Luke’s amendments.
Great germination and very prolific.
I grew this in a straw bale garden in 2025 and really enjoyed it. It grew amazingly well and was beautiful, so I purchased more for 2026. Michigan zone 6b.
I have grown these for the last few years and they are hands down my favorite. I like romas and firm tomatoes. These remind me of mini romas. These are less prone to splitting, super easy to harvest and has a super great flavor and very meaty. YUM!
The cloves are large, full and heavy. Of the two cloves I kept (shared 2 with my daughter), 12 were large enough to plant, 1 will be consumed.
