Sweet Siberian Watermelon

I learned the hard way about vine squash borers and it destroyed all of my melons, pumpkins, and squashes that germed amazingly early in the season. But I tried again and so far the sweet Siberian is flowering and growing well!

I ordered this variety too late to start this year but can't wait until next growing season! The reviews I have read make it a must grow for me. I just harvested palm size watermelon and it was the best watermelon I ever had! If this surpasses that...

A typical watermelon vine but the rind itself is a dark nearly solid green. All of the seeds I planted germinated and I have already harvested two small melons. They’re about five pounds or so, but if given enough space and adequate fertilizer they can grow larger.
