Originating from the Appalachian Mountains, this determinate tomato plant produces an abundant crop of 4-6 ounce, bright red, round fruits. The tomatoes have a sweet, mild flavor, making them perfect for fresh eating, salads, and sauces.
I just thought I'd try this variety as it is compact, determinate and also cold hardy. I live in Phoenix, AZ and we have decent weather all winter long....much better time of year to garden than our hot summer. The compact size will make it easier to cover with frost cloth if needed. I'll let you know my results. :)
