Everbearing - Dormant Runners- The Mara des Bois is a day-neutral strawberry that produces fruit from summer to fall. It is a favorite among home gardeners and commercial farmers for its highest flavor and fragrance of any neutral strawberry. Their small-medium size berries have an attractive red color with a high gloss and grow best in zones 4-7.

High failure rate. 8 out of the 30 that i order did not make it. Of the remaining about 1/2 are doing great, the other 1/2 are growing but are small (not sure how many berries i might get from them this year). I will give it a year to see if they all settle in and start to produce.
The strawberry roots were healthy out of the package. I planted the in my green stock planter and the are doing great.
Healthy plants. Happy with my order
But the rest seem healthy.

Great fertilizer. Used for the first time last year for my fall bulbs and they were stunning and strong come spring. Planting another 250 bulbs this fall so came back for more bulb fertilizer. I also use the Trifecta. Can’t go wrong with any of Luke’s amendments.
Great germination and very prolific.
I grew this in a straw bale garden in 2025 and really enjoyed it. It grew amazingly well and was beautiful, so I purchased more for 2026. Michigan zone 6b.
I have grown these for the last few years and they are hands down my favorite. I like romas and firm tomatoes. These remind me of mini romas. These are less prone to splitting, super easy to harvest and has a super great flavor and very meaty. YUM!
The cloves are large, full and heavy. Of the two cloves I kept (shared 2 with my daughter), 12 were large enough to plant, 1 will be consumed.
