AnnualGrow your own loofah sponge! These gourds produce abundant yields, perfect for natural soap crafts. When fully mature, the interior dries to reveal a sponge-like texture just beneath the husk. Curing takes about 3–6 months in a dry, well-ventilated area. In their early stages—while still green and under 4.5 inches long—they're also edible. I grew these last yeah and had a fun time with the experience,I actually even got a finished Luffa out of it. Very happy with this product
I bought two packets of Luffa seeds because I wasn't sure how many would germinate. In two packets, I received over 40 seeds and all but two germinated and are thriving!
My luffa's are doing amazingly so far. I didn't do a soak or trim the seeds at all and I believe that 3 out of the 6 seeds I planted have sprouted with beautiful large cotyledons and I don't doubt that the rest will sprout! I have kept them outside in seed starting trays the entire time and they are doing wonderfully! I did plant them quite late considering i'm in Minnesota so I don't have too much hope of actually harvesting a lot of the dried luffa this season haha
so excited to get them. I had good luck last year with them.
Only got 8 seeds from the approximated 20 in the packet. Only 4 germinated.

Just planted my garlic using Bulb Plus
The bulbs were large and healthy looking. Great price also. I can’t wait for planting time.
These are like XL cherry tomatoes (1.5-2 inches wide) that taste great and are uniform in size. I will be growing more of this variety next Spring.
Though they are not named Scotch Bonnet, they are definitely as hot and fragrant as a Scotch Bonnet pepper (and I'm happy I bought them to try). I bought more packets recently to be ready for next Spring and to share with my Jamaican family!
