The first year I planted calendula was a bust, but I gave them a second chance and am glad I did. I started the seeds in the greenhouse according to the package’s directions and transplanted in the garden after the last frost date. They were a pretty addition to my tomato bed. Even better is that they were easy to collect seeds for next year. I look forward to trying new varieties.

I grew these last year and harvested many of the flowers. But that didn't stop several from popping up again this year!

These are easy to grow and just beautiful. They get quite a bit fuller than I thought they would ,so don't plant them too close to each other. The colors are amazing.
