Short Day - This is a Vidalia variety with White flesh, brown skin that is perfectly globed shaped. Pink rot tolerant. This is an early variety of onion and is early maturing for those in short-season climates. It is a popular choice down south to use for sautees, soups, stews, and more! Not too pungent. The flavor is strong when fresh. After a few months of being cured the tears won't flow like a day or two after harvesting.
Large onions!
Both came up this year. I’m using cair cocoa block this year.
Started my seeds a couple weeks ago, and these came up faster than my others. Very happy with them!
Seeds are always absolutely gorgeous and grow like crazy!!! I will be planting these soon.
Always quality onion seeds!
I gave one to my partner last summer... he said, "WHY DOES THIS TASTE LIKE CHAMPAGNE??"
This variety will be in my garden until I can no longer garden!
I just planted them and they look beautiful so far
Excellent Germination!
One of my favorite things to grow is spinach, I grow mostly in containers so I like to try and get as much as possible out of my small garden. This variety definitely does that. I get massive leaves and fill up a gallon sized ziplock bag relatively quickly every week when the harvest begins.
Germination went very well, popped up within a few days. Growing well!
