Semi-Determinate. Rio Grande is a petite slicer tomato that’s perfect for tossing into salads. Don’t let its small size fool you—this variety delivers big on flavor with a bold balance of acidity and sweetness. One of the most flavorful Roma-type tomatoes, it’s ideal for fresh eating and cooking alike. The compact, productive plants yield heavily throughout the season, making it a great choice for gardeners looking for continuous harvests in smaller spaces.
Rio Grande Tomato
I just transplanted them for a fall harvest.
I haven't had a chance to plant any of them yet. I will update more when I am able to start my seedlings.
I plan to plant these next year, they are the best paste tomatoes for the high desert, they withstand inconsistent watering and high heat. MIG seeds have always been consistent with high germination rates, so I don't need a lot of seeds to be successful.
Everything I purchase from MIGardeners has been the best quality.
I purchase every year and I’m never disappointed.

I wasn’t expecting that much garlic. My box was full of soft neck and hard neck.
They are doing beautifully. I can't wait for the spring!
As a homeschooling project, my seven year old grew this cauliflower, which is his favorite vegetable. He entered it into the county fair and won a first place prize. Easy to grow, and kept covered with a mesh fabric. Purchased the same seeds again, this time trying winter sowing in a raised garden bed with 6ml plastic hooped over top. Starting to head out again even if the outdoor temps are 30-40 during the day and 30-20 at night
I had missed out on the opportunity to buy garlic for fall planting. I happened to hop on the website randomly one morning and see the garlic grab boxes so I immediately purchased! I'm so thankful I did. This is my first year planting garlic in Oklahoma and I cannot wait to harvest next year!
I planted my garlic in October. I can’t wait to see how they turn out next summer.
