I love growing this one, just for color alone!! But, it also tastes a lot better than my other bells!!

I have grown purple beauty’s for about 7 years now and they by far my favorite.
Very productive, easy and low maintenance to care for.
The color is absolutely beautiful. They almost ripen to a deep purplish black color. Highly recommended variety to try.

I also received mixed up varieties last year, no purple bell, only banana peppers grew so was mostly without bell peppers last year. You can actually tell in the greenhouse pepper trial video because it happens to the owner too.

The photo on the MIgardener site pales in comparison to what this is like. The picture shows a more lilac bell, this seed produced a deep dark black-like purple. The fruit went from green to blackish purple in a matter of 3 days. Later, it ripened to mostly red. For me, this produced few fruits and was slower than other peppers, but I enjoyed growing it so much, I will be growing it again in 2025. Transplanted June 15; flowers by July 24; clearly developing fruit by August 1; first dark fruit by Aug 3; ripened by Sept 28.

Bought these for the 2024 growing season and only got some hot red peppers instead
