A distant cousin of spinach, this variety is technically not a true spinach but is used similarly for its texture and flavor. This unique variety has small spear-shaped leaves and grows tall and upright. There's no reason to worry about early bolting here. This variety is heat tolerant and will produce all summer long. A great source of vitamin C.
I've had NZ before. Looking forward to seeing this, this summer. 😋
New Zealand Spinach is easy to grow and slow to bolt. Its sprawling vines sport thick leaves that are wonderful in salad, stir fry, lasagna, and pesto.
In zone 5a, it usually self-seeds and returns the following spring.
Just received in the mail and planted out in my Greenstalk. Excited to see if this truly can handle the heat and humidity this summer.
Fantastic germination rate and looking good so far!
I winter sowed these. They did very well.
I'm not just saying this because I am from the great state of New York, but the New Yorker tomato from MI Gardener is stupendous....It almost over-performed last summer (is that even possible?) I can't wait to get started with them again this year.!!
I used revive Rex last year with excellent outcomes. I wanted you to make sure I have it on had for this gardening season.
Delicious and prolific.I'll plant this on repeat!
Grew these for the past three years and I will keep growing them for many more. I highly recommend them. Great germination rate. Every onion grew to the size of baseballs and others a bit bigger and they store very well.Best long day onion I have ever grow.
I am very happy with my heirloom seeds. I cannot wait to germinate them.
