Mammoth is nothing short of accurate for describing the size of these peas! Juicy edible pods are great in stir-fries, salads, or fresh snacking! They are so sweet that they hardly make it to the dinner table. Plants produce tons of pods containing between 4-8 peas per pod and pods can range anywhere from 4 to 7 inches long! Mammoth Melting Snow Peas are cold tolerant and easily able to survive frosts.
I grow these every year and they do very well. The harvest never makes it back into the house. I love to snack on them while I’m in the garden and my kids enjoy them too.
I've planted this variety multiple times and have never been disappointed.
they didn't germinate. i tried in the ground and in seed cell tray. no germination
I received my 13 different seed packets from MIgardener. I am going to enjoy planting all of these seeds. I love ordering from this company with their beautiful packaging with planting instructions. Thank you!!
Always grow so good and I get so many peas
I gave one to my partner last summer... he said, "WHY DOES THIS TASTE LIKE CHAMPAGNE??"
This variety will be in my garden until I can no longer garden!
I just planted them and they look beautiful so far
Excellent Germination!
One of my favorite things to grow is spinach, I grow mostly in containers so I like to try and get as much as possible out of my small garden. This variety definitely does that. I get massive leaves and fill up a gallon sized ziplock bag relatively quickly every week when the harvest begins.
Germination went very well, popped up within a few days. Growing well!
