I have grown a few varieties of chard, and this is my favorite so far. I am growing it hydroponically in a 3 gallon bucket and it produces new leaves for my smoothies all week! It does not get too large, the color is pretty, and it's just crispy enough.

I had planted this Swiss chard before and loved the color and using it in salads and stir fries. In zone 8, it grows all winter here if I cover it when there is a longer freeze. MI Gardener always packages more seed than they say and the germination rate is always good. The colorful packaging is fun, too.
