AnnualThe Hailstone Radish is a small globe-shaped radish with firm crisp flesh. The flesh is delicious and holds its freshness for a long time. Grow to about 1.5″ across. Plant this variety very early in the spring in a sunny location as soon as the ground may be cultivated and enriched with organic material. For an extended harvest period, plant at two-week intervals avoiding hot summer temperatures.
I LOVE these radishes! Not too spicy, great crunch, just delicious.
Good germination. Seems to mature more slowly than red king.
Package looks great & I am excited to plant them this fall!

I'm not just saying this because I am from the great state of New York, but the New Yorker tomato from MI Gardener is stupendous....It almost over-performed last summer (is that even possible?) I can't wait to get started with them again this year.!!

Grew these for the past three years and I will keep growing them for many more. I highly recommend them. Great germination rate. Every onion grew to the size of baseballs and others a bit bigger and they store very well.Best long day onion I have ever grow.
