Annual50,000-100,000 SHU. The Chiltepin pepper is a wild, heirloom variety native to the southwestern United States and Mexico. Known as the “mother of all peppers,” it produces tiny, round to oval fruits about 0.25 inches in diameter. Despite their small size, Chiltepin peppers pack a fiery punch. The peppers ripen from green to a vibrant red and have a smoky, fruity flavor. Chiltepin plants are hardy perennials in warm climates and grow up to 4 feet tall. They are often used in salsas, hot sauces, and traditional Mexican dishes. Expect 50,000-250,000 Scoville Heat Units depending on the season and your location.
The seeds came and I'm happy with them and they were suppose to ship free, but the only issue i have is i ordered a separate order of 2 trays which i paid shipping on those. They shipped the orders together which isn't an issue. The problem was that the seeds didn't come in a bag together inside the box. They seem to have just thrown them inside the trays which meant that the seeds were rattling inside the box and just tossed around during shipping. I would have thought they would have put them in a bag to keep them together and safe for shipping.
I planted these in May and they took awhile to produce. By August/September, I had a bunch of little peppers. They grew until mid November in Georgia. These peppers are small but hot.

These seeds are hard to germinate. I would say they can take weeks to germinate and they grow slow. Start them early. Sow more than you think. Keep constant warm temps. I wrap the seeded cells with saran wrap or put them in plastic containers that close.
I'm not just saying this because I am from the great state of New York, but the New Yorker tomato from MI Gardener is stupendous....It almost over-performed last summer (is that even possible?) I can't wait to get started with them again this year.!!
I used revive Rex last year with excellent outcomes. I wanted you to make sure I have it on had for this gardening season.

Grew these for the past three years and I will keep growing them for many more. I highly recommend them. Great germination rate. Every onion grew to the size of baseballs and others a bit bigger and they store very well.Best long day onion I have ever grow.
I am very happy with my heirloom seeds. I cannot wait to germinate them.
