Annual30,000-50,000 SHU. This amethyst-hued pepper comes with a kick and a twist as it has some sweetness in the flavor profile. It can be enjoyed for both eating and ornamental purposes.
The seedlings come up purple but true leaves are green.
Good Peppers; didn't get very big, but flavour was good. Not too spicy. Took quite a while to germinate but succeeded in the end. I am overwintering it in my garage so hopefully with the head start, I get a bigger harvest this year.
Excited to try these.
This cayenne out produced my other cayenne colors, and after being on the plant for a long time they eventually ripen from purple to red and taste even better.
