A super pepper all around. Spicy enough for salsas and chilies, without overpowering heat. Enjoy the sweet and citrusy flavors that come from it along with a bit of spice. The peppers are long and you can expect this plant to produce generous amounts of peppers. Start green and slowly mature into a bold red as it gets spicier.

I bought this pepper because I have really gotten into trying different peppers to find more I enjoy. I'm more about the sweet ones, but I can take a kick too:) I bought this one in particular because my hubs name is Jim and he's 6"3. Also, I heard they make good frying peppers. This plant was the obvious im mediate winner as far as the seedlings when compared to other pepper plant seedlings I was growing. These babies grew quick and got nice thick stems and the root systems were massive compared to other plants. I was so pleased. I'm now actually getting peppers (May 2024 zone 9b in Fl.). I haven't eaten any yet but am excited too. Unfortunately, though the plants remain strong, they are EXTREMELY well liked by Army worms...And I have these suckers planted with Marigolds and Calendulas, beans, tomatoes, and Sweet Alyssum around them. We've had a lot of rain recently and I hoped that would keep them off the plants as I can't spray my organic sprays until it stops raining...Overall though, Very nice plants, and considering the damage they've endured, they continue to outgrow it. Hope the taste is as impressive as the plant!
