First Frost: Typically late Sept to early Oct
Plant fast-growing, cold-tolerant crops starting in late July through mid-August. Focus on varieties that mature in 30–50 days. Consider using row covers or cold frames to extend your season.
Start sowing:
Spinach, arugula, mâche, kale: Late July to early August
Radish, turnip, cold-hardy lettuce: Early to mid-August
Quick tip: In Zone 3, stick with ultra-fast greens and root crops—your window is shorter but still productive!
Zones 3–5:
Last sowing typically happens by late August to early September
I have grown Malabar spinach in the past. I decided to buy a new pack of seeds from MiGardener. It grows so wonderfully in my garden. And you can’t go wrong with a good price point of two dollars for a pack of seeds.
I have not planted these yet (it's January) but I have never received any seeds from MIgardener that did not produce good results
Doing wonderful thank you

I grew these peppers last year and wanted to make sure I could grow them again this year. They are wonderful seeds and highly productive. Love my MIGardener seeds!
