This Japanese heirloom is one of the most beautiful corn varieties in the world. Uniquely rainbow striped leaves make this an eye catching addition to the garden. Plant will grow up to 6′ tall and produces long ears of corn with wine colored kernels. Ideal for drying and grinding into cornmeal.

      I’m growing it since March. Soil is mix of topsoil and manure. it’s growing beautiful colored leaves. It’s 4 feet tall now, started to mature and NOT A SINGLE CORN EAR. I’ll update this review if I see any corn ..thank you

      Update for my previous review, I think I was not patient enough. All the corn have baby corn on them . I’m so happy. I’m not sure if the stem is suppose to be skinny like that . But I enjoyed the beautiful pink leaves and the kernel. I’ll buy it again for sure

      This corn was temperamental to start but I did manager to get a few ears late late in the season and they were stunning. Even without producing ears, the plant itself is very ornamental. A great addition to my corn field!
