This variety produces huge, dark green leaves with delicious flavor. Slow to bolt and is very easy to grow. Perfect for any gardener. Cold-hardy leaves are rich and buttery. Wonderful eaten raw, cooked or preserve in the freezer to use later. Add it to a pasta dish with some basil and heirloom spaghetti sauce!

      I bought these last year and had enough for last year and this year. Had an amazing germination rate, and I simply love growing this spinach.

      I had trouble getting these to germinate. Maybe it was the heat or dry soil. But ones that came up looked fine and very cold hardy.

      Good germination! Plants did well all spring and produced over a pound of spinach! Great to add into salads or cooking with.
