I planted this for a Facebook gardening grow-out group that I am participating in this season. High germination rate. Looks like every seed germinated. Excited to try this when it matures!

Great germination and really enjoy the licorice smell and the taste of this basil. Planning on growing it again in 2018!

I am in zone 9B. I try to grow every variety of basil that I can come across and I really love growing this variety. With a little bit of shade from the afternoon sun it does exceptionally well and produces beautiful plants. My husband Loves the taste of licorice and this does have hints of that flavor. So it is a perfect plant that I grow for him to make pesto with different types of flavors.

We loved this in my house I made tea and the Not in law cooked with it. I’m pretty sure this is the same thing as Tai basil but don’t quote me.

Will be great to add to my cooking. Have not tried this basil before but should grow as easily as all the other wonder basils from this site

Easy to grow. I am not sure what “savory” dishes to use this in, but my plan is to use in instead of regular sweet basil in my “gin gimlet” cocktail recipe. Cannot wait!!

Grows very well. Easiest herb to grow.

I am so happy with these seeds. They germinated quickly and have survived propagation for my friend and to fill the pot where they live. They also have lived through terrible Oklahoma heat! They smell and taste like licorice and basil, if that makes sense.
