Nearly 100 percent germination on these seeds. Started using the damp paper towel method and they sprouted within a couple of days.

Excellent germination indoors zone 6a, a little slow to grow at first due to our lack of sun, but once they were hardened off and in the ground, they exploded!!! We got 4 dozen eggplants off of two plants.

We used these along with other veggies in our tomato sauce and they added great crunch and taste. The were great in stir fry too!!!

Excellent germination for this product. almost 100%. They are only small now and I have questions about all the holes in the leaves without any sign of insects. I’ll monitor and let you all know.

Zone 5a, Southwest, Mi. Perfect germination using the petri dish method. One of my first producing eggplant of the eight varieties I grew this year. Good for stir fries. Keeps fairly well in the fridge.

Grew in San Antonio and am not growing in Washington DC in pots on a balcony with moderate sunlight.
In San Antonio they had nearly 100% germination under lights inside and 100% transplant success. Grew fast and highly productive until the squirrels found them 🙁 Made a ton of Baba Ganoush, stir fry and grilled eggplant from four plants.
In DC, I direct sowed in pots and have had around an 80% germination rate and they are growing very well, though not large enough to start producing yet. Very happy with these seeds.

Grew well in zone 8b and got quite a few eggplants from just two plants. Great grilled and sauteed. Will definitely grow this again next summer.

I grew these last year and really didn’t know what to expect or even if I could grow them here in zone 4b in the Upper Peninsula, especially because I do not have a green thumb. I even lost track of them during the season, not sure what I had planted where so they received no special care. But by the end of our short season, even I had some small yet very tasty eggplants from the two plants I had planted. I will definitely be growing these again this year. Thanks MI Gardener!

These germinated well — nearly 100%, and grew nicely in ground. The plants were medium high and fit into my ornamental garden so well no one realized they were eggplants until they started producing. The eggplants were delicious and grew well in full sun during a long pacific north west summer in fairly difficult soil. This plant definitely is a regular in our garden now.
