The skin isn’t great, but the inside has a wonderful flavor. These would be great chopped up in home-made sushi (skin off.)

Grew these for the first time this year. Super prolific and have a great flavor. Made smashed cucumber salad with toasted shishitos for a family get together and it was a huge hit. I’ll definitely be growing these again.

Planted 3 vines of this variety, 1 was immediately stunted by cuc. mosaic and others had it but continued growing and were productive. However this variety has very thick skin and the first 4 weeks, cucumber’s had insanely bitter ends. As temps cooled down though to mid 70 bitterness went away. Fully yellow cucumber’s, though, were very tasty when peeled.

So far, so good. 100% germination thus far, and has been a fast grower. In just over a month, this is my fastest grower of the 5 varieties of cucumbers I currently have, with this one already having it’s first flowers set. Can’t wait to try them!

Crispy and tasty. Perfect addition to a salad and yummy straight from the vine. My grandson’s new favorite!

Funky fun cucumber, but if you can grow a regular cucumber, you can grow this!

I will be growing these for the first time this year. But I have eaten it since childhood back home, it’s yummy. There’s a trick to eating this, cut off about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch on either side, salt the cut piece generously and rub it a couple of times to the cut portion, till it foams slightly. Then cut off a tiny slice of the foamy portion on both sides, peel it, as the skin is quite thick. The rest of the cucumber will be the best you have ever eaten! Salting it this way will remove the bitterness from the cucumber.
In India people grate it and add it to whipped plain yogurt, with some salt, pepper, ground cumin and cilantro. And this serves as a side with your meal!

    didn’t produce very many cucumbers..

tastes better when it’s harvested young, before the skin turns brown..but then what’s the point of buying this variety?

one of the first varieties to start tasting bitter as temperatures got hotter..

not planning to grow it again this year
