Introduced in 1902, this is the first variety of yellow corn eaten at the dinner table! A super sweet all yellow corn. Grows early and only 5 foot tall for easy picking. Ears grow to be around 8-10 inches in length and are great for fresh eating, freezing, drying, or even canning. Delicious!

      One of the best looking seeds I’ve ever seen.. Just watched the videos about and can’t wait to plant and harvest.. My 18 months old loves filling up the cups with potting soil to start the seeds..

      Directly sow it in my raised beds and containers.
      Germination was a bit lacking but both growth and vigor of the sprouting seeds are superb and I might get the combs ready for harvest by June.

      My Golden Bantam seeds that I planted resulted in a crop of Peaches and Cream sweet corn. Some kind of mix up since the seed packs are labeled Golden Bantam. So the Peaches and Cream corn did not germinate very strongly…100 seeds planted and 57 germinated. The 57 stalks produced 38 ears of corn. Not great but I did plant late (June 21).

      This was some of the tallest sweet corn I’ve ever grown! The plants did well and produced on average 2 large cobs per plant. Great flavor and it preserves well.
