Last year we had great success with Waltham Broccoli. Large head and side shoots. Cant wait to grow this every year

Got these to try as microgreens after watching your microgreen video. Great germination. I also started some to grow out in the garden. I can’t wait until these are ready to harvest. 🙂

I grew these last spring and had broccoli for most of the summer. grew nice heads and tons of side shoots. If only the rabbits did’t love it so much..

Large plants with lots of side shoots. Ours made fairly small heads, but may be due to how hot the spring was. Taste was excellent but knocked it down one spot because the very small head size despite giant plants.

Didn’t have a great experience with these broccoli, especially in comparison to the other hybrid varieties I grew. The heads were much smaller, and the taste wasn’t as sweet. I may stick to the hybrids in future, which grow faster, produce bigger heads, and are better tasting.

This broccoli grew very fast but i planted it late so it bolted before i got any good heads i am trying it again this fall and winter

So far I am incredibly impressed by, and pleased with my MIgardener experience. The whole experience from shopping to ordering to receiving has exceeded my expectations. Seed selection is amazing. The price is unbeatable. Communication from the company is timely and accurate. My order was received in less time than anticipated, which was already pretty short. The seed packets are beautifully designed; simple, yet sophisticated. I don’t think I could ask for anything more from my experience.

All the seeds germinated quickly, and the plants grew quite large. I planted a little late, and we had an unseasonably warm spring last year here in Southern California so the plants bolted before producing too many large heads. I applied several inches of mulch to keep the soil cool, and that slowed the bolting. What we did harvest was delicious, and we ate all parts of the plant. The leaves were especially tasty lightly sautéed in a little butter. Thanks, MIgardener!
