4 Name : sbsnider1104 Location : , First time growing carrots and my son picked these. We grew these beside our Danvers 126 carrots, but these didn’t germinate quite as well and grew a good bit slower. While these did come to full maturity (even though they were short) they tasted more bitter than an orange carrot. These were interesting to grow to stay the least. 23-May-2020

5 Name : ourlife767 Location : , This is a great carrot to grow , especially if you are growing a colorful carrot garden. 🙂 30-Aug-2020
4 Name : fauxmenno Location : , These germinated and grew better than most of the other carrot varieties I grew this year. They have pretty good flavor but I found it to be slightly more bitter than the sweet orange carrot varieties. They are very juicy and the juice will stain everything! Also, this variety was hairier than any other carrot I grew but that is easy enough to just peel and get rid of. 31-Aug-2020
5 Name : melissa.krat Location : , Pretty. Grew well in dramatic temp swings. Good seed germination. Good flavor. Will grow agai 25-Nov-2020
4 Name : meruhe Location : , Made a big mistake with these. I added too much compost to my soil in this bed and these carrots turned out covered with fine roots up and down the main shaft of the carrot, but it wasn’t more than a peeler could fix. My grandkids pranked their parents by putting lots of these carrots in a fresh garden salad made for a picnic without cluing them in on the fact that these will definitely stain anything. The resulting purple smiles were the cause of lots of laughter! I will definitely be planting these again in 2021! 02-Dec-2020
5 Name : bbirdnow Location : , Zone 5b Iowa. I love these carrots. They might turn your hands color for a little while but the antioxidant content is terrific. 04-Dec-2020
2 Name : rcrovets Location : , Interesting color, but I found them bitter. I think I will stick to Danvers & Nates. 16-Dec-2020
4 Name : scenestra Location : , Germination was spotty, but since you usually have to thin anyways not to much of an issue. Solid plants, and the carrots taste good! 18-Dec-2020
5 Name : kalauing Location : , These were fun to grow and have the kids pull out a carrot that wasn’t orange. Not great for production carrots, more of a novelty. 26-Dec-2020
5 Name : maggiemaymcevoy Location : , Can’t wait to harvest these and see the gorgeous color they behold. Migardener never disappoints with great quality seeds for a perfect price point. 28-Dec-2020
3 Name : ilovebugs08 Location : , Tended to bolt. The ones that stayed in ground were hairier than the danvers or oxhearts. Flavor was ok, not particularly sweet 30-Dec-2020
4 Name : ilfstara Location : , As other reviewers have said, these aren’t the sweetest carrots and they are very ‘hairy’. I love the color, the flavor is still enjoyable and it gets sweeter when cooked. The ‘hairs’ fall right off with a firm washing and you have a super cool looking carrot that’s good raw and in recipes. 01-Jan-2021
